Advisability of Forex Trading
We DO need to give serious thought to the decision to embark on Forex Trading, and for good reason, as indicated by the statements below (these, or similarly-worded warnings are now found on most Forex Trading related sites) :
Forex Trading is not appropriate for everyone.
There is a substantial risk of loss associated with trading these markets.
Losses can and will occur. No system or methodology has ever been developed that can guarantee profits or ensure freedom from losses.
No representation, guarantee or implication is being made that using the information in this website will definitely generate profits or ensure freedom from losses.
Also note that Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations.
Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading.
Since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
Basically, what all this is saying to us is that we should not jump into Forex Trading on a whim, or based on some wild claim that a fortune can be made in a short time, or because we are offered a "cannot fail" system/method/trading-signals or the like (ie non-existant silver bullet).
We must do "due diligence" on any service provider and product, and we must be prepared to work hard and long in order to achieve reasonable success.
